One of my favorite afternoon snacks is cottage cheese and mango. It's sweet, a touch savory and really satisfying because it's packed with protein. Adding pistachios to this combo just takes it to the next level by adding crunch with a little healthy fat and another punch of protein. I prefer to cut the mango into pieces and add it right in to the cottage cheese. Then I may eat the nuts on the side or add them right in to the cottage cheese as well. Either way is a win!

1/2 cup 1% cottage cheese +
1/2 cup mango
This super satisfying (and yummy) snack boasts only 230 calories! I'm loving the fact that pistachios are so reasonable in calories. There's no reason to avoid enjoying these nutrient nuts. They can fit in anyone's healthy eating plan.
