Baby Update (or lack thereof)

Happy Friday everyone!

I just wanted to give you a quick update today on my pregnancy. Bottom line: no Ben yet. He is still in the oven.

I will be 39 weeks on Sunday so it's technically not quite time yet. Jackson did not come till 41 weeks so I'm not expecting Ben to be different. But it would be A-ok with us if he did come early. The nursery is ready, we are ready and football games start a week from today for Brian. Eek! (We have this small fear that I will go into labor on a Friday night when Brian has a game - which is every Friday starting next week). 

All-in-all I know Ben will come on exactly the day God has chosen for him. In the meantime, I am eating up every second with sweet Jackson. Yesterday, he helped me make cookies for Daddy and his coaching staff. It was so much fun to bake together and he even cracked an egg all by himself. 

I must admit that I am pretty uninspired these days when it comes to cooking. Easy, quick and as few dishes as possible are my main goals. I hope to get my cooking mojo back next month, but for now, it's a little bit of survival mode. 

I will keep you all posted on my progress and of course, post pictures when Ben arrives.
