Are you tired of giving the same old holiday gifts - candy, cookies, stupid stocking stuffers? Me too! I would like my gifts to be meaningful, not too expensive, but promote health and vitality.
Well, here are a few of my favorite things... (I couldn't resist!)
I've been saving up a couple of things I've found to share with you that I think make fun and healthy gifts. I added most the items to my Amazon store so you could easily find where to order them. Click the links below to go my store.
Cutlery to Go: My mom gave me this set as a stocking stuffer last year. It sat in a drawer for a while but recently I started using it in my lunch and I love it. This kit snaps together to give you a spoon, fork and knife OR you can make a pair of chopsticks! I can't find them in a store this year but I do have them on my Amazon store. Here's the direct link.
Carrot and Dip to-go: I stumbled upon this treasure at my local super market. The top of the carrot unscrews and is a container for dip while the deeper bottom easily holds veggies. Genious! Find this on my Amazon store too! This company also makes an adorable Apple and Dip to-go and Kiwi to-go Lunch Box (just look at the picture).
Spices: We have a wonderful shop in downtown St. Augustine called The Spice & Tea Exchange. They have an amazing assortment of high quality herbs, spices and teas. I thought this would be a great present for my work colleagues since they are fun and health-promoting. I tied gift tags to each one that printed from Going Home to Roost (which, by the way, makes beautiful stuff). Here's a closer look.
The spices I chose were Sweet Smoked Paprika, Chocolate Sea Salt, India Black Mineral Salt, cumin, true ceylon cinnamon, 4-Pepper Blend, Himalayan Mineral Salt, and Chardonnay Smoked Sea Salt.
